If you feel like you're seeing more spiders & their webs around Michigan lately, you aren't alone. You may surprised by the reason behind the sudden population boom.

The potential spread of the Joro Spider across the US and its likelihood of reaching Michigan.

Both of these spiders are pretty nasty.

The Shapiro Undergraduate Library at the University of Michigan was temporarily closed after not one, but three venomous spiders were found inside.

Arachnophobes, beware! Scientists have just discovered the world's largest 8-legged creature from the Jurassic period. The 165 million-year-old female spider is part of the Golden Orb Weavers -- a family of spiders that still exist today -- and has a leg span of nearly six inches.
