Taco Bell Offers Taco Bar To Go Just In Time For Cinco de Mayo
Taco Bell has a new item debuting this week just in time for Cinco de Mayo.
The fast food chain is introducing their new "At Home Taco Bar" According to the press release, the fast food chain will be selling the DIY kits nationwide, starting May 1, via both delivery and contactless drive-thrus for a limited time.
Each kit, that serves 6, will include eight flour tortillas, 12 crunchy taco shells, 6 oz. of nacho chips, seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, reduced-fat sour cream, hot sauce packets and napkins.
“Our food has always been a catalyst of bringing people together, and we’re finding new ways to do this from a safe distance until we can all be together again,” said Melissa Friebe, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing and Consumer Insights at Taco Bell. “No matter the meal they create, we’re excited to give fans a new at home Taco Bell experience.”
In case you aren't quite sure how to assemble the perfect taco, Taco Bell will also start posting official recipes on the company blog starting May 3.
The "At Home Taco Ba"r will cost $25 and Taco Bell lovers are encouraged to invent some new takes on the taco and then share their unique creations on social media using #TacoBellCreations. Now...who has the margaritas?
