The Flint staple is closing its doors until the pandemic lessens.

Starlite Diner & Coney Island, which has been a local, family-owned business since 1966, is closing down until the COVID-19 outbreaks dies down a bit.

They were previously open at both their Flint and Burton locations for carryout and their drive-thru windows but, as of yesterday, they will not be offering either.

Effective today April 12th, we will be closing both Starlite Diner and Starlite Burger and Coney Shop until the Covid 19 virus risk has lessened. We appreciate our hardworking staff that has risked their health and our amazing customers that have supported us unconditionally but at this time our employees health comes first and we must make sure each and every member of our team comes back healthy when this is over! Again, thank you for the outpouring of unity through this! Please everyone stay home and stay healthy!
