Should Recreational Marijuana Be Legal In Michigan?

First off, let me start by wishing everyone a happy 4/20, especially to people in Colorado, Alaska, Oregon and Washington. Those four states allow for the recreational use of marijuana. Then you've some 17 states where it's been decriminalized, 23 states where medical marijuana gets the 'green' light, and a few other states that both allow medical cannabis and it's decriminalized.

As of today, 4/20/2015, Michigan hasn't decriminalized the wacky tobacky, but we do allow for medical purposes (ouch, my back really hurts!!!). But some advocates are looking to add Michigan among the ranks of Colorado and the other states where recreational use is legal (wow, my back feels much better!). Look for the proposal in 2016. Whether you partake or not, for medical reasons or not, do you think Michigan is on the verge of legalizing recreational marijuana use?
