The fourth is almost here which means the explosions can being.

With the Fourth of July holiday weekend upon us, it's time to look to the skies and enjoy the lights, colors, and explosions. I love a good firework display, but love lighting them off with friends even more. Each year, my friends and I all chip in some money to buy a bunch of fireworks and light them off for the neighborhood. It's a great time and we all look forward to it.

As I was trying to figure out what to buy this year, I looked more into finale racks that you can buy. At first, I wasn't a huge fan, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to give them a shot. In the past, we tried to do our own finale and just light the big ones as fast as we could. Well, I'm too old to hustle like that anymore and it always ended in burns anyway. So this year we are trying the finale packs.

The only problem is that we don't know which ones to go with. I think I've narrowed down my choices be you can see the top seven that I've found so far. Yes, I know there are more out there, I just stuck to one store for this one just to make it easier on myself. I'm too lazy to search all over the state to find the exact boomer that I'm looking for. All of the ones below can be found at Phantom Fireworks here in Flint.

Thunderstorm - 8 shot finale rack

Legion of Fire - 9 shot finale rack

Mars Retrograde - 9 shot. This one could be one of my favorites.

Wolf Pack Spectacle - 9 shot.

Thermobaric Warheads - 16 shot. This one seems like a lot of bang for the buck.

3" Golf Brocade - 9 shot.

3" Red, White, and Blue Finale - 9 shot. After checking all these out I think I'm going to pair this one, the 3" Golf Brocade, and the Thermobaric Warheads all together for the end of the show.
