Schools Asking Parents to Wash Kids’ Backpacks Before Tomorrow
Not a bad idea, considering that Michigan is the second sickest state in the country.
School districts across the country are suggesting that parents wash their childrens' backpacks, lunch boxes, jackets, etc. before kids come back to school tomorrow after Christmas break.
Basically, sanitize EVERYTHING to prevent the spread of colds, different strains of flu, strep and whatever the heck else is going around.
It's something simple that we can do at home before we send our littles off to the petri dish that we call "school" after break. And, not to beat a dead horse or anything, but...GET YOUR FLU SHOT! It only takes a few minutes.
