The nurses at the local hospital have also jumped on the trend, wearing a more relaxed uniform. This is a problem because the jail regularly transports inmates to the hospital for medical treatment. The Sheriff is concerned that the inmates will blend in with the hospital staff.

What is the solution to this odd fashion trend? The Sheriff is changing the county jail jumpsuits back to black and white stripes. The horizontal stripes will be back at the Saginaw County Jail until the orange jumpsuit trend passes.
