11-year-old Samantha Stricker, a Saginaw Township resident, held a lemonade stand that made over a thousand dollars...and she handed the check over to the local veterans hospital.

The hospital has said that they will use the money to buy blankets and personal items for their patients. Not only that, but this is the SECOND YEAR in a row that she's held the stand.

She received a coin from the director of the VA that's given to people who go above and beyond in the community.

Well done, Samantha! Your selflessness has not gone unnoticed.
