The mayor will start the 20-hour drive to Houston this morning to deliver the supplies.

Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw had a donation drive this last weekend to fill flood buckets - cleaning supplies including gloves, bleach, etc. - to deliver to Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston. They're partnering with a church down south to distribute them.

Mayor Dennis Browning said that he was watching the devastation on the news, and wanted to help. He's leaving this morning to drive the flood buckets to Houston.

They're also bringing diapers and formula as well.

My friend Trish lives down in Webster, Texas, and she sent me these pictures of the devastation from Dickinson, which is just inland from Galveston. Help is also needed in places such as League City and Port Arthur - she tells me that a lot of the smaller towns and cities are getting overlooked for help. :(
