A black bear was caught on a home security camera roaming through Saginaw Township early Tuesday morning.

According to Breaking News 989, Ring video shows the bear moving through a neighborhood at about 1:21 a.m. on September 30. The animal appeared to be injured in the footage.

A local resident also reported that their teenager may have clipped a bear with a vehicle near Midland Road and Gratiot Avenue in Saginaw Township the day before.

Wildlife sightings are rare but not unheard of in mid-Michigan, and residents are urged to stay alert in the area.
