James Flynn, a world-renowned authority on IQ tests has collated IQ test results from Canada, the United States, western Europe, New Zealand, Estonia and Argentina that proves that for the first time in one hundred years, women have moved ahead of men in the IQ race. He offers a few explanations for this turn of events. One reason might be that women's lives have become more demanding, causing them to multitask between home and work. The other is that women have a slightly higher potential intelligence, and are just now living up to that potential. "In the last 100 years the IQ scores of both men and women have risen but women's have risen faster. This is a consequence of modernity. The complexity of the modern world is making our brains adapt and raising our IQ." said Mr. Flynn. He plans on publishing his findings in an upcoming book, and adds "The full effect of modernity on women is only just emerging."
