Sometimes the right people are in the right places at the right time to help others out.

A group of teenagers who were enjoying some downhill skiing and snowboarding in Vancouver, Canada earlier this week were quick to spot another skier dangling from a ski lift some 20 feet in the air and came to the rescue.

The 8-year-old skier had slipped off the ski lift was holding onto his father's arms for dear life when the group of teenagers stepped in. The fast-acting teens retrieved some orange snow fence and held it out so the boy could land. After the young skier removed his skis and there was enough help to hold the safety net the boy let go and was back on solid ground.

The young skier was unharmed and the group of teens was rewarded with seasonal passes to the ski resort.
