You've probably heard us talking about the Taste of Home Cooking School event taking place next month at Perani Arena. You will have a chance to learn some new recipes just in time for the holidays. In the meantime, I've decided to give you some recipes as a sneak peak as to what you could learn how to make at the event. I've chosen a Pumpkin Pie Dip recipe to start with. Find out how to make this easy recipe after the break.

Here's what you need for ingredients:

* 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

* 2 cups confectioners' sugar

* 1 cup canned pumpkin

* 1/2 cup sour cream

* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

* 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

* 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

* Gingersnap cookies

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Beat in the pumpkin, sour cream, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and ginger until blended. Serve with gingersnaps. Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: 4 cups.

I may have to head to the store now to make this tonight because it sounds delicious. If you want more details on the Taste of Home Cooking event or to buy tickets, go to our site for more information.
