Popular Grand Blanc Restaurant Burns Sunday [VIDEO]

Nobody was hurt. The business was a total loss.

If you saw flames and black smoke in Grand Blanc Township yesterday here's why. The Canton Chinese restaurant is no longer. It has been at the same location the corner of Fenton Road and McKinley Boulevard for many years. The Chinese eatery has been a local favorite ever since the doors opened many years ago. I've had carry-out from there myself a time or two.

The fire started around 11:30 a.m yesterday (Sunday). Grand Blanc Fire Chief, believes it started when the owners fired up the stove to prepare some take out orders.. Good news for the neighborhood..the owners want to rebuild as soon as possible.
