Popular Downtown Flint Restaurant Table & Tap Closed
Without warning patrons of the popular downtown eatery Table & Tap found closed doors Saturday. The doors were locked and the sign on the door simply read "Closed permanently. Thank you for your years of patronage".The Facebook page for the business has since be deleted as well.
The restaurant on Saginaw Street called itself a "taproom serving local beer, bourbon & wine, plus BBQ fare using ingredients from nearby vendors.” With the Saturday night crowds even bigger this weekend due to festivals and concerts, customers were left without one of their favorite spots in downtown.
No word on why the closure or plans for the locations. Calls to the restaurant are unanswered.
