Planes Clip Each Other at Detroit Metro Airport This Morning [PHOTOS]

Well, at least they were on the ground when it happened.

An American Airlines flight traveling from Detroit to Dallas clipped the wing of a Southwest Airlines plane while it was taxiing  away from the gate. No injuries have been reported, although the passengers have now been on the American Airlines flight for an hour.

"We were sitting here...and all of a sudden we felt a boom, boom, boom. I was like 'oh my God, what is that?'" one of the passengers told WXYZ-TV in Detroit.
