Over $5,000 Raised for Michigan Boy’s Therapy Duck’s Legal Fund
Aren't you glad that you don't need a legal fund for ducks?
Remember the story we told you last week about the 12-year-old boy autistic boy from Georgetown Township who has two therapy ducks, named Nibbles and Bill. The Homeowners Association in his subdivision is citing that the family is in violation of an ordinance, and that neighbors have complained about the smell.
Since the story has gone viral, a GoFundMe has been set up by the boy's father to raise money for the family's (or duck's) legal defense, and the online community has already donated more than $5,000.
T-shirts are being sold via his site, Dylan's Duck Adventures. There's even a meet-and-greet for people to meet Dylan and his ducks on July 29th from 1-2 PM at Hagar Park in Georgetown Twp.
