9-Year-Old in Mexico Gives Birth – Police Looking For Father

In Mexico a 9-year-old girl recently gave birth to a new baby and the police want to identify the father.

She was "just over 8 when she got pregnant," reports her mother. Mom claims the father of the child is 17 years old and is on the run from authorities.

Because of the girls young age, she does not really understand what is happening. She was seven months along in the pregnancy before it was identified. The young girl, known as Dafne, has reportedly been in a "committed" relationship with the 17 year-old. Police are not exactly sure why mom would approve of something like that.
