News Reporter Claims Ignorance After Dropping Racial Slur Live On Air [VIDEO]

Kristi Capel, a Cleveland newscaster, is under fire after making a comment live on the air that she didn't realize was a racial slur. When talking about Lady Gaga's performance at Sunday night's low-rated Oscars, Capel's attempt to compliment the meat-wearing musician backfired drastically.

Capel said to her African-American co-anchor that Gaga sounded good, "without all that jigaboo music" that generally accompanies her vocals. And there you have it... slur dropped on live TV. However, following the barrage of complaints, the anchor tweeted this:
