So you can stop by for a reduced price and check out the SUPER CUTE new red panda babies!

If you're a first responder or a healthcare industry worker, you can receive a discount on admission to the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids through July 31st.

Micheal Lomonaco, the zoo's Chief Community Engagement Officer, told WMMT Channel 3 in West Michigan that "All of us have seen over the months the incredible amount of work, passion and sacrifice that our health care community, as well as our first responders, have made to help ensure the safety of all of us. As an organization that has been so fortunate for decades to experience that love and generosity of this community. We thought this was a great chance to pay it back a little bit."

This is the first time that the zoo has given a discount on admission like this, and they say that it may not be the last time, given the COVID situation throughout the country right now.

The zoo features exhibits such as the Van Andel Living Aquarium, Red's Hobby Farm and the Idema Forest Realm.

If you'd like to receive the discount, you can purchase your ticket online and select the healthcare worker or first responder option. Once you get to the zoo, you must show proof of your job position.

Masks are required in the indoor exhibits at the zoo for anybody over the age of 5.
