Michigan Woman with Disabilities Gets a Free Car After Hers Was Stolen – The Good News
This story has "good news" written allllll over it.
Barbara Brown's car was stolen last weekend at a Grand Rapids gas station on the city's west side. Not long after that, it was found crashed in Kent County.
Unfortunately, Barbara only had property damage insurance, so her car was a total loss. She also has disabilities and used her vehicle to get to and from doctor appointments.
The owner of Eagle Towing and owner of a car lot, Andrew Heykoop, saw her story on the news and wanted to help - he gave her a used car. Literally, he gifted it to her.
Barbara told the news that she was crying a different kind of tears when she found out. Don't worry, Barbara - we're crying, too.
