Michigan Restaurant Catered A Wedding in 90 Minutes

The original caterer had the wrong date for the wedding, so a local restaurant stepped up and saved the day.

Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Vansledright got the news right before their wedding this last weekend that there would be no food at their reception - the caterer had written down the wrong date. They thought that the wedding was the 18th.

So, just before their ceremony, they stopped over at an adjacent Hudsonville restaurant called Sonder Eatery and, in tears, begged the owner for help. The owner said that he couldn't turn them down.

In 90 minutes, the restaurant staff put together more than 150 meals and shut down the restaurant. The couple ended up getting their money back from the caterer, and they're now on their honeymoon.
