Michigan Off-Duty Cop Carjacked at Gunpoint, Badge + Gun Stolen [VIDEO]

A suburban Detroit police officer was carjacked at gunpoint overnight and police have taken a suspect into custody.

WXYZ reports that the incident occurred around 2:30 am today (8/13) in Harper Woods. The suspect stole the officer's black RAM pickup truck which contained his pistol, uniform, badge, body armor, wallet, and cellphone.

The suspect was apprehended after a brief chase.
