Michigan House Panel Votes to Eliminate M-Step from Michigan Schools
Michigan's M-Step testing could soon be replaced or eliminated.
On Tuesday (3/22) the Republican-led school aid panel voted to eliminated Michigan's new, more-rigorous standardized testing, which replaced the MEAP last fall.
Education officials are now considering a new, computer-adaptive testing program which would get student assessments back to teachers and parents quicker.
