Even under normal circumstances, teachers and students go through a lot of hand sanitizer in their classrooms. This year, as schools prepare for a limited amount of in-person instruction, a Michigan company is offering free hand sanitizer for teachers.

Blakes Hard Cider, which is based in Amanda, Michigan is holding giveaways beginning today through Wednesday, August 26th.

Blake's Hard Cider, which is based in Armada, is putting its best foot (or hand?) forward for teachers this week by giving out free hand sanitizer, donuts, and cider.

Teachers can show up to any of Blake's three locations this week and pick up their goodies. You MUST bring proof of employment.

Here are the locations for Blake's Cider Mill and times that you can pick up free hand sanitizer:

  • Cider Mill:17985 Armada Center Road, Armada, MI 48005 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Big Apple: 71485 North Ave, Armada, MI 48005 from 8:00 a.m. – 6: 00 p.m.
  • Blake’s Backyard Almont: 5580 Van Dyke, Almont, MI 48003 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Almont is about 40 minutes from Flint while Amanda, Michigan is about a 50 minute drive from Flint, via I-69.

And this isn't the first time that the company has stepped up during the pandemic for the surrounding communities. Back in April, Blake's Hard Cider delivered its first batch of about 300 gallons of hand sanitizer to McLaren Health System.
