We're proud to call her a native Michigander!

Christina Koch is officially back on earthly soil after a record-setting 328-day stint on the International Space Station. It was the longest single spaceflight for a woman in history.

During the trip, she completed 5,248 orbits of the Earth, which comes out to approximately 139 million miles. She also completed six spacewalks, including the first three all-female spacewalks.

She was born in Michigan and grew up in North Carolina; she and her husband now live in Galveston, Texas. And yes, she did share a picture of the mitten state from high above the earth late last year on her Instagram.

Welcome back, Christina!
