Meet The Homeless Boy Who Will Do Anything to Do His Homework — Even Without a Home [PHOTOS]

There are a lot of issues that need to be tackled in this world, and along with those issues come a ton of misconceptions. What do you think of when you hear the word, 'homeless'? You may think of those guys standing at the interstate off-ramps all over town, who could probably make more money by applying for an actual job, rather than throwing a pity party for themselves.

The sad truth is that a lot of homeless people had no control over how they ended up where they are. Take 9-year-old Daniel for example. He didn't chose for his mother to be widowed, nor did he chose to have his house burn down. His mother works at a grocery store, but only makes $1.77 a day. Not an hour, a day!

After a photo of Daniel doing his homework outside of a Filipino McDonald's went viral, a local news affiliate caught up with him. The 9-year-old is determined to do well in school so he can help his family. It turns out he also wants to be a police officer so he can help others.
