If you are that kind of parent, this upcoming event in Lake Orion may be right up your alley. The Michigan Kids Fest at Canterbury Village happens on June 11th and June 12th. Each day features a wide range of activities for children of all ages. Here is everything you need to know about this rain or shine event.

What time is the Michigan Kids Fest each day?

• Saturday, June 11th: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Saturday, June 11th: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Sunday, June 12th: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

• $10 for adults and children
• Veterans and children under 2 years of age are free but will be charged a $2.68 service fee.

My 8-year-old self would have enjoyed a kids festival much more so than hand-picking 1034 dandelions in my front yard. Yes, that was really one of my chores. If I knew back then that spraying a weed killer would have easily gotten rid of them, I would have had some pretty choice words for my father.
