Meet Miss Candy! AJ’s Animals for November 13th, 2020
AJ’s Animals is proudly brought to you by The Brough Bakery in Clio!
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Candy. She's the longest resident at Genesee County Animal Control and she is absolutely just as sweet as Candy!!!🍭🍬🍫
November is "Adopt a Senior Pet" month, and Candy is a great senior gal. She's approximately 8-10 years old; she's heartworm negative and housebroken, and here's her story (in her own words):
Hello, world, my friends at the shelter keep telling me how sweet of a girl I am. That's why they named me Candy. 🍭 I might not be as young as I use to be but I still have so much love to give. 💕 I just wish someone would give me a chance. I struggle to make doggie friends at the shelter, my vision is not the best.. so it's hard for me to judge if the other dogs really want to be my friend or not.
✅ Love the couch or bed and I try to play with stuffed toys.
✅ I love everyone human I meet! I promise I would be a great family pet, I could even help you take care of the kids. Please if you have extra room on your couch for an old girl like me, I promise to share the blankets and to cuddle with you every night. I'm just looking for someone who will give me a chance. I may be old but I still have a heart of gold. 💛
Please help me find my forever home, I can't spend the rest of my life at the shelter, I just need help finding my family.
If you would like to meet Candy, message Genesee County Animal Control on Facebook.
Shelter hours are Tues-Fri 12-6 and Sat. from 10-2pm.
