Mark Wahlberg Will Be At Two Detroit-Area Meijers Today

It's all part of the announcement that there will be Wahlburger's on the same property as select Michigan and Ohio Meijer stores.

If you're a Mark Wahlberg fan, or a Wahlburger's fan, or a Meijer fan (or all three), you may want to play hooky from work today.

Mark Wahlberg will be on site today at the Meijer in Taylor (14640 Pardee) at 9 a.m. Friday and the Royal Oak Meijer (5150 Coolidge Highway) at 11 a.m.

The new Wahlburger's will NOT be inside the Meijer stores, but near them, on the same property. They will also be bringing their new food trucks to select locations.

No other information is available as to which stores will become neighbors with the burger chain, but hopefully that information will be available soon.
