
Local Anchor Accidentally Reports President Obama Is Dead
When breaking news occurs, mistakes are bound to be had.
Unfortunately, one local news anchor for Washington, D.C., Fox affiliate WTTG learned this the hard way last night while reporting on the killing of terrorist leader Osama bin Laden.
Shortly after President Obama's speech to the nation, the anchor attempted to recap the address, saying, "President Obama speaking from the East Room of the White House, telling the nation and the world President Obama is in fact dead." He was quickly corrected by his co-anchor.
