There's just something about that adorable handwritten letter that melts our hearts.

This is the "busy season" for shelters and non-profits, especially further north where the winter weather can be more treacherous, so they can definitely use all the help they can get.

Goodwill of Northern Michigan posted this on their Facebook page on February 20th and we couldn't love it more - they received a letter from an 11-year-old boy named Fynn, accompanied by an $80 check. The letter said:

“Dear the people of the Goodwill Inn, I got some money for Christmas and I want to give it to the children at the Goodwill Inn tell them to buy something they will enjoy please. Thank you.”

Fynn got to meet everybody at the Goodwill Inn and said that he hopes this can be a yearly tradition. The Inn is going to use his money to buy outdoor toys for the kids.
