Retirees aren't the only "snowbirds" that migrate to warmer climates when the weather turns cold in Michigan.  For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum has a program to teach you about migratory birds tomorrow

from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

You'll learn which birds are heading south, which are staying for the winter and who is just passing through.

This program is for adults age 50 and older, and you should wear proper clothing as a short hike is part of the program.  Cost is $3

If you are the curious type and want to learn more about the birds you see around your feeder, in the woods or near local waterways, you should attend this event.
