Lansing Postal Worker Accused of Hoarding, Burning Residents’ Mail
So you're saying I can blame all of my late credit card payments on this guy?
Okay, so to be fair, we don't know if this is a man or woman; they're not releasing any identifying information about said postal worker. Here's what we DO know:
Investigators found that a postal worker in Sunfield Twp., just west of Lansing, had been hoarding other peoples' mail in his/her home. Some of the mail had been burned, and it appears as though the postal worker had been hoarding the rest of it.
The worker was moving out of the house when the owner of the home found it and called the authorities. An investigation is pending.
And in case you're wondering, NO - the USPS isn't affected by the government shutdown, so this wasn't a disgruntled employee who was furloughed.
