Ker-Plunk! Foul Ball Lands Squarely in Guy’s Beer at Comerica Park [VIDEO]
A Detroit Tigers fan was lucky enough to catch a foul ball at Comerica Park the other night, and when we say 'catch,' technically we mean it landed in his beer.

Luckily, this story has a happy ending. Two happy endings, actually.
Tigers' Dugout Used as a Shelf
Tempting as it may be, you probably shouldn't use the Detroit Tigers' dugout (or any team's dugout for that matter) as a shelf. Your phone, your souvenirs, and your beer aren't safe there. Especially your beer. This fan found that out the hard way.
In the clip below, you'll see the action from Thursday's game (8/4) between the Detroit Tigers and the Tampa Bay Rays at Comerica Park. A foul ball from Tigers shortstop Javier Baez landed on the first base dugout.
Two Happy Endings
As you can see, the guy clearly had a good sense of humor. He took it all in stride and the ballpark provided the gentleman with a replacement beer. And then something else happened. Since the ball that landed in his beer somehow got away, the Tigers fan was presented with his very own souvenir ball. Check out the second video below. The fan with a good sense of humor also has a big heart because he presented the ball to a kid who was sitting nearby. Well played, sir.
