The right to procreate isn't specifically mentioned in our Bill Of Rights and I agree with this judge 110%.

See what you think...

A northern Ohio Appeals Court has upheld a ruling made last year that said 34 year-old Asim Taylor cannot father anymore children until he pays $100,000 in back child support. The man has four children, all from different women, and is currently serving five years of probation.

The court ruled that the dead beat dad should "avoid impregnating a woman," until he can "provide support for his children that he already has."

If he fathers another child before he is current on child support payments he will go to jail.

Judge Walther, one of the three judges who preside over Ohio's Appeals Court explained the decision this way.

Where, as here, the defendant has demonstrated a long-term refusal to support multiple children by multiple women notwithstanding his ability to work and contribute something to their car, an anti- procreation condition is reasonably related to future criminality.

As you might have guessed, Taylor plans to take his case to the Ohio Supreme Court on the grounds that he has a constitutional right to procreate.

I support this decision, but what about you? Does a man or woman have the right to have children that they cannot support?
