Two Michigan Towns Make Top 18 Places in U.S. for Trick or Treating
Trick or treating is serious business in Michigan.
When you're a kid, there is nothing more serious in life than candy. Halloween not only allows them to dress in their favorite costume but also gives them the opportunity to rake in weeks worth of free candy.
To make sure the candy harvest is the most plentiful it can be, you have to make sure that the little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes are canvassing the right neighborhoods. Thankfully, two of the best small towns in America to trick or treat in are right here in Michigan.
Tripstodiscover.com has come out with its list of the 18 Best U.S. Small Towns to Visit for Halloween in 2022 and Michigan claimed two of those spots. Those two towns are Romeo and Dearborn.
When it comes to Romeo, it is highly recommended that you check out Tillson Street for the annual Halloween on Tillson Street event. The homes and front lawn displays are decorated and a manner that is said to rival Hollywood sets. Check out Halloween on Tillson's Facebook page here.
The other town to check out, Dearborn, is of course home to the annual Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village festivities. This event runs every Thursday through Sunday in October, however, every day is already sold out. So I can see why Dearborn made the Top 18 for sure.
I love Halloween and have already begun to prepare the house for trick-or-treaters. Where are your favorite places to take the kids to collect the best free candy? Let us know in the comments. Happy Halloween!
