New Jack in the Box Coming to Metro Detroit in 2026
Jack in the Box is making a return to Michigan, with several locations in the works.
A Battle Creek location is set to open soon. It was tentatively slated for April 2026, but some reports now indicate a May 2026 target date.
Next up is a Metro Detroit location in Westland. Locals may recognize the site as the former Wendy’s on North Wayne Road near Warren Avenue.
When is Jack in the Box in Westland opening?
Similar to the Battle Creek location, the exact grand opening date for the Westland site has not been announced. However, according to The Metro Detroit News, the new Jack in the Box is expected to open sometime later this year, giving residents something to look forward to as the fast-food chain expands in Metro Detroit.
