Exciting news for burger lovers in Genesee County. Halo Burger is set to reopen in downtown Flint.

You may recall that the Halo Burger at 800 South Saginaw Street closed for the first time in 2020 over COVID.

 

The popular spot reopened in 2021, but did not stay open long and eventually closed again. By 2024, a 'For Sale' sign on the building pretty much sealed the fast-food restaurant’s fate for locals in Genesee County.

Fast forward to 2026, and a source has confirmed that yes, Halo Burger will return to downtown, and in the same building as before.

That's right - Halo Burger will once again open at 800 South Saginaw Street in Flint.

Can you even believe it? I have to say, I was surprised. Happy for sure, but really didn’t see this coming.

When is Halo Burger reopening in downtown Flint?

As of right now, Halo Burger has not announced an official reopening date or timeline for the downtown Flint location. We will be watching for any updates and will share the latest as soon as more details are released.
