CRUST Baking Company has announced a second location in downtown Howell, Michigan.

The first CRUST location opened in Fenton back in 2012, and over the years, it has become a favorite destination for food lovers. From the fresh-baked artisan breads and pastries to the sweets and grab-and-go items, CRUST has definitely made a name for itself and proved it has staying power.

Let's not forget about the restaurant side of the business, either. The scratch-made breakfast, brunch, and lunch options pair perfectly with a barista-made espresso, craft cocktail, Michigan craft beer, or a glass of wine.

Where is CRUST opening in Howell?

The second CRUST location is at 203 West Grand River Avenue, next to Howell's Mainstreet Winery.

When will the new CRUST location in Howell open?

According to an official CRUST press release, the new spot will open sometime between January and March.

Owners Chad and MaryBeth Brennan are both local, with Chad growing up in Hartland and MaryBeth in Fenton. Howell was chosen as the next location after the couple watched the community grow and saw its commitment to supporting local businesses.

Chad had this to say about the expansion,

Our goal has never been simply to open more locations. Growth has to make sense for our people, our company and the community we’re entering. We believe Howell checks every one of those boxes. We want to build something that will become part of the community and be here for a very long time.

Since the news was announced on social media yesterday, the reaction has been nothing but positive. People are excited, and believe me, I get it. I have enjoyed many great meals at CRUST in Fenton, and I am excited for the new location.

Congrats to the entire CRUST crew on your upcoming second location.
