One popular Michigan retailer recently announced plans to hire thousands of new employees nationwide, with nearly 200 openings right here in the state. This is great news for those looking for full-time or seasonal work.

With over 100 locations already in Michigan and new ones popping up all the time, this retailer is on a roll, bringing even more job opportunities and shopping options for folks in the area.

According to a press release, Aldi is planning to hire 13,000 new employees for the upcoming holiday season and for new stores that are set to open up. The company is hiring for store and warehouse positions.

Whether it’s our in-store team filling shelves with fresh produce, warehouse staff managing logistics, or drivers delivering our trending ALDI Finds, our employees fuel the quicker, easier and more affordable shopping experience our shoppers know and love.

When it comes to pay, Aldi is one of the industry leaders with competitive wages. The new national average starting pay for open Aldi store and warehouse positions will be $18 to $23 per hour.

If you're interested in a career opportunity at Aldi, you can apply on the Aldi jobs page.

Aldi isn't the only retailer paying higher wages these days; Hobby Lobby recently announced it was raising its minimum wage to $19.25 an hour, starting this month. That's a significant boost for its hourly workers.

There are so many companies currently hiring, so if you're struggling to find work, you're not looking very hard.
