Internet Celebrity Cat Lil Bub Has Died

Rest in peace, sweet kitty. Thanks for making the world a brighter place.

First it was Grumpy Cat, and now Lil Bub. WE HAVE NOTHING LEFT, PEOPLE.

Lil Bub's owner, Mike Bridavsky, posted a photo of his deformed cat back in 2011, and the rest is history. She had a series of genetic problems which led to her eyes bulging, her tongue out and tiny little arms & legs.

She was diagnosed at the age of one with osteopetrosis, becoming the first known cat to have the disease. Her online fame allowed her to raise money for several campaigns for special needs and homeless pets - over $700,000.

Such a sad loss for the animal community and the internet world. Thanks for being a force for good, little cat.
