Hungry Howie's Providing Free Mammograms in Detroit

The pizza chain is teaming up with Henry Ford to help uninsured women with breast cancer prevention.

Hungry Howie's has announced their Hope, Love & Pizza initiative to help women in the Detroit area who don't have health insurance to get free mammograms.

It's all part of the launch of Henry Ford's mobile mammogram unit, which will be fully operational in November. Until then, the public is welcome to come see it on September 26th from 11 AM to 2 PM and also receive a free pizza lunch.

At that time, women can be pre-registered and pre-screened to receive their free mammograms once the unit is running in November.

If you can't attend the event but would like to be pre-screened and registered, call Henry Ford at 877-6-SCREEN and note that you'd like to take part in the event.
