Hotel Regrets $11 Million Christmas Tree

An Abu Dhabi hotel spent $11 million on a Christmas tree, but now regrets the decision.  The tree was decorated with gold and gems but now they think they went too far.  The hotel said they wanted to boost the holiday mood for its guests.  First of all, who spends that kind of money on a tree?  Do you think the tree is tacky?
