The Home Depot Service Project strikes again in the mitt for another deserving veteran.

More than 60 volunteers worked on Saginaw resident Alvin Wioskowski's home yesterday. Alvin served in the Vietnam war and recently became so ill that he was no longer able to take care of his yard and do handy-work around his home.

So, on Tuesday, volunteer workers from The Home Depot's Celebration of Service project started clearing out brush in his yard around 7 AM and worked all day until it was finished. They cleaned up branches, brush and even completed some repairs for him.

A lovely way to show respect for those who have served!
