Canada is hoping that Michigan will work with them on this to possibly expand service to Detroit.

Don't get too excited yet...the plan wouldn't be in place until 2025. But still, it's moving forward, and that's a good thing. It's a $15-million process that will take passengers from Windsor to Toronto at speeds of up to 155 mph.

However, if they can work with Michigan, the plan wouldn't be in place for decades. But it would utilize the tunnel that connects Detroit and Windsor.

Just another country that's got us beat on public transportation. *sigh*
