Grand Blanc was a sea of blue yesterday in honor of London Eisenbeis.

You couldn't go far without seeing blue shirts, blue hats, blue flowers and the words #LondonStrong. Yesterday was the first anniversary of the death of the 5th grader who passed away from an undiagnosed heart condition in 2018. She was at a waterpark with her family when she suffered cardiac arrest on a waterslide. She was hospitalized for a little over a week before she passed.

Her foundation, London Strong, provides AEDs for local schools, public buildings, dance schools, etc. And yesterday, her mom Tina asked everybody in GB to wear blue in her honor. They sang her favorite song at her former school, Myers Elementary.

It was a beautiful way to honor her, and hopefully it brought some comfort to her family. Love seeing our community pull together.
