Genesee Towers To Be Demolished This Summer [VIDEO]

The Flint skyline will soon be changed forever as the tallest building in Mid-Michigan has been slated for demolition. WNEM reports that the Genesee Towers will come down on July 21st or July 28th.

The building was condemned by the City of Flint in 2004, and has been vacant ever since. The Genesee Towers sold for just one dollar last summer, and that location will be redeveloped once the building is gone.

This takes me back to the 1997 demolition of Autoworld, that opened in July of 1984 and closed later that year.
