Genesee Co. Law Enforcement Delivers Lunch to Three Area Hospitals [VIDEO]
In an effort to show appreciation to all the hard work being done by local healthcare workers, Genesee County law enforcement personnel delivered lunch to staff members at three area hospitals.
Deputies, sergeants, lieutenants, and captains all pitched in to deliver lunch from Italia Gardens to staff members at Hurley, Ascension Genesys, and McLaren hospitals.
As the COVID-19 crisis intensifies in Genesee County, Sgt. Jillian Macey (who just happens to be my daughter-in-law) tells Mid-Michigan Now in the video below that it's important for frontline workers to support each other.
“As first responders ourselves, [we know] how important it is to support each other in a crisis like this and come together and have each other's backs in a time of emergency," Macey said. "[We] know we are all in this together, and we want to support them through this fight.”
