General Motors Giving $130K To Flint Non-Profits – The Good News
13 organizations in Flint will receive $10,000 a piece.
Diana Tremblay, the VP of global business services for General Motors, made the announcement on Tuesday at a press conference at Kettering. The organizations that are receiving the funds are:
*Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint
*Flint River Watershed Coalition
*Food Bank of Eastern Michigan backpack program
*Junior Achievement
*Priority Children
*Shelter of Flint
*Flint Cultural Center Corporation
*Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation
*YWCA of Greater Flint
*Communities First Incorporated
*Boys Scouts of America Water and Woods Field Service Council
*YMCA of Greater Flint
